- What is the location of the FMI Showcase? Our showcase is at the beautiful family friendly Red Rock Resort and Spa in Las Vegas. (visit: www.redrocklasvegas.com)
- How many potenetial models participate in a FMI Live Model Showcase? It depends on how many people we find that have true potential to be a model. Our attendance is usually smaller than other companies since we are highly selective.
- How do I buy my tickets and my hotel? After you have been scouted you can either call us and we will take your payment for a Live Model Showcase Package and your desired nights at the hotel at our special rate. If you wish to purchase extra Entrance tickets or nights at the hotel just let us know. You will also be able to purchase your package and hotel room stay online in the Attend section of our Live Model Showcase. You will recieve a confirmation number once your hotel rooms are booked.
- What is the cost to attend an FMI Live Showcase? Our Live Model Showcase Package has a cost of $695.00 and includes two (2) Entrance Tickets (one for a Participant and one Guest) plus one (1) Numbered Badge that entitles the model to participte in the Live Model Runway in front of the agency directors. You will recieve your Entrance Tickets in the mail and your Numbered Badge at the event sign in. You may bring additional guests for $125.00 per ticket. All guests and parents are encouraged to attend all the events, including the parties, runway clinic and information session with the agency directors.
The rooms at the Red Rock Resort are available for a special FMI showcase rate of $150.00 per night for double occupancy. To reserve, let us know how many nights you would like to reserve at the hotel and include the room price in your payment and we will make the reservation. We will send you a reservation confirmation number in a Confirmation Package in the mail approximately 3 weeks after payment.
- Is the Live Model Showcase a model competition? No. The Live Model Showcase is not a contest or a competition. Everyone who attends our event is there beuase we consider they have real potential to be signed by an agency. We look to boost participants self-esteem and improve the self confidence by the education they will recieve in the event and by knowing they have been hand picked by some of the most selective scouts in the nation.
- Should my parents attend the FMI Live Model Showcase? We absolutely encourage all parents and family members to come to our Vegas showcase. Parents will learn all the ins-and-outs of the modeling industry and have a better understanding in how to help their child achieve success as a model.
- What happens after the FMI Live Model Showcase? Our first priority after our event is to help the attendees that recieved call-backs form the agecy directors complete their process of getting signed to the agency that best fits their lifestyle and priorities. If you received a call-back and an agency is interested in you, we will make sure that you are placed with the right agency.
